Ten Questions

Kelscraggly (what a brilliant name) did this fun list a couple of days ago. I volunteered to play along because I am so altruistic full of myself. (I also haven't done LunaNina's list for a week or two, dang nabbit.)

1. What is your favorite word?
Love. Especially on Xmas cards or notes. Friends put 'Best Wishes'. Family put 'Love'.

2. What is your least favorite word?
Portion

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Hope

4. What turns you off?
Confrontation

5. What is your favorite curse word?
Sorry, I just love them all.

6. What sound or noise do you love?
Solitary birdsong

7. What sound or noise do you hate?
Office electricals and fluorescent lights; monotone hoooosh-whrrrrrr all flaming day

8. What profession other that yours would you like to attempt?
Myofascial healing, definitely.

9. What profession would you not like to do?
Anything with small minds and bitchy politics - shop assistant, factory, school cook - I couldn't keep up with the subtext.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like God to say when you arrive at the pearly gates?
Its okay, they all made it.

Anyone else?

I'm in love with your answer to number 10. That's so you. Obviously with us there is some question as to whether we'll all make it. It's good to know that you're on our side. Remember if you don't get the answer you want negoiate, negoiate, negoiate--until you wear them down. (My son taught me that--big grin.)

Myofascial healing, eh? Now there's something to focus on! Fascinating, isn't it, how bodily manipulations lead to emotional release. I'd get through as a patient, but I'd fail as a practitioner. Too much empathy, I think, would have me over-emotional all the time.

ME Thank you. I really would be stuck at the gates, racked with panic, if I thought one of 'mine' needed rescuing, or company.

Zilla, I shouldnt say this on a public blog, but I already pick up peoples ailments from their possessions. No futures, no wacky stuff, I just take on the condition. I can do it in msn too, which is embarrassing!

I think being able to swim in the conscious focus on unravelling and reordering things would be very doctorish - almost disassociated from emotions because you would be focussed on the good outcome more than on the pain of the current state.

Anyway, pain - haha - been there done that. I think the more pain someone was in, the bigger the high would be even from the outset, from absolutely knowing you were going to make them feel better.

"Friends put 'Best Wishes'. Family put 'Love'" I love that! It's so true!

Also, my least fave word which goes with portion is control. Mt two least fave words evah!

Ms mac - me too!
I dont have a 'portion' of anything; hate the word, because it sounds like somebody got the calculator and the tape measure out - to the food too!

posted my own list on my own blog after a reasonable bit of introspection... (was done in about three minutes :P )

Cheryl...I think you are a Bodhisattvas.
Go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhisattva
And then read--Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism.
That's you, methinks.
I believe these sorts to be the most beautiful of souls.

Writer mom
You are lovely. Wrong, but lovely. I havent even got to the early stages of joy, generosity and moral virtue.
In fact, just being enough of a big head to rush off and read how special you were calling me, is proof enough that I'm not!

I just cant imagine returning to another physical lifetime, I cant - eternity is where we belong, where we get our freedoms. This place is playschool - the foundations, the earliest stage of the learning curve - basic training. I just want my classmates with me when we move on up, is all.

Yup, I'm rambling. Ooops.
