From Daughter, 9, For Zilla

Daughter, 9, had wonderful fun performing the task set by Zilla. She also, for that purpose, had control over my computer all this afternoon.

We don't have a (working) scanner, we don't even have batteries in the digital camera, although this was a good thing. It meant the only medium available was Paintbrush, keeping the whole exercise on the computer. I am an evil mother not mentally geared up for playing with PVA glue and pasta on a Sunday afternoon.

Anyway, Zilla, one for your collection, with love. (P.S. from D(9): Please note the detail on the gloves and tights - that took ages.)

Wow, I love it! Detail on the gloves, perfect buttons, and laced up shoes. I think the whole thing took some work. Great job, 9!

Love the Art - especially the little buttons. Looks like she's ready to give us all a big hug!

Samps has been inspired by your daughter’s work, and we are going to attempt putting this guy up on our site in a little while, but first an Adam Sandler….LIVE FROM NEW YOUR, IT’S SATURDAY NIGHT….the best of Adam Sandler….marathon, for us. Should be fun. Love and other sappy stuff, Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree….I am a big ol’ dork.

I think I will wear Christmas balls for earrings tomorrow, maybe not.

Great work Cheryl’s daughter, I’d wear those glove in a heart beat!

She did an awesome amount of detail on it--I am very impressed.

Funnily enough, we made cardboard gingerbread self-portraits for our Christmas party last year. It was part of a "Candyland" theme and was my idea, but everyone really got into it!

I posted mine on my blog--it's the only picture of me I ever intend to put there!
