Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen things I need to do in that sort of 'niggly list at the back of your head, after everybody else's emergencies, one day' kind of a way.
  1. Get clever enough to put this list in pretty colour boxes
  2. Find out who I am
  3. Find out what I want to do
  4. Find out what I'm good for right now
  5. Do it
  6. In a way that I get paid for it
  7. Admit I am getting older
  8. Stop thinking that one day, when the kids are a bit bigger, concentrating on my looks wont be too little too late!
  9. Work out how to be on top of paperwork and housework all at once - so far I seem to only do one to procrastinate about the other
  10. Read the entire top twenty bestsellers
  11. Lower my writing skills to that level and rattle off my own bestseller (joke)
  12. Find an academic passion
  13. I just know theres something else I'm not seeing, but I can't see what it is!

I am perptually "behind" on housework. What's that saying " a clean house is the sign of a wasted life??"

I guess I'm lucky that I get paid to do a job I love (even though some days it makes me want to pull my hair out!) :)

Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

MANDY!!
I got my name on your links just before your site went down - will keep coming back to try and comment too, but right now it keeps timing out.

Those things are good. I ould like to get paid for what I'm good at/enjoy, whatever that is! My job now is pretty good, for a job that is.

Thanks for visiting me!

The pretty boxes are easy enough, it's the automatic links i'm stuck on.

whoa, you better get busy! Love the list! And good luck to ya!

I know what I do best, now if I could just get them to pay me what I make in my IT job, I could quit!

If you want to know who you are, ask a friend. It's not the same as who you want to be. ;-)

K T - very true!
But if you bever give everything away, then they're all going to see something different, eh.

Best wishes in getting it all done! Some of those are much needed.

Stressful list. But I could have written it. I wish I could figure out what I like to do, and how to get paid for it. While being at home.

Good luck!!

I totally relate to the paperwork/housework. Our filing cabinet is more or less a joke - crammed full of papers.
Thanks for stopping by!

Too funny. "lower" you writing skills. Well, in some case it might be true.
I always seem to be behind in my paperwork.
Happy Thursday.

I hear you about the looks. I am now JUST starting to care about it again. Enough that I splash nice smelling items, use creams, try to tame my unruly mane.

I also need to find out what I want to do and find a way to get paid for it. :)

I think reading the 20 best sellers would take ME forever!! Then, I'd miss out on last years top 20 and so on and so on.

Drop by if you can and see if you can guess any of my T - 13 list!

never ever admit you are getting older.

I would love to read the bestsellers as well. I will never find the time to do so, though. Hope you can get thru your list. Thanks for stopping by my TT. Oh! and never admit you might be getting older!

Read the entire top twenty bestsellers

Eh. What do "they" know? Besides, the bestseller list changes every week. You can never keep up.

Pixie said...

Yeah I'm don't doin so hot on the paperwork/housework issue either. *sigh*

Great list! Thanks for stopping by my list.

Have an awesome day!

Sherri said...

oh I need to do many of these too!

...my list is up:)

I've given up on housework mostly. You have to put things in priority, and housework is just not up there. Oh well.

that's alot to do! Good luck!

#'s 2, 3 and 4... i've done. but i get stuck with the "Doing It" part... hence the "not getting paid". LOL!

I know I've had thought #11 before...

Anonymous said...

I'm just trying to ignore the housework and paperwork all together - doesn't make it go away though... ;)
Happy Thursday evening!!

Great list! I wish you the best with each and everything on your list....

My TT is up here.

By the time you read the bestsellers, there will be different ones! You could lose your mind that way!

Sounds like you are doing some seriuos introspection of your life. I wish I could keep up with my housework. It is such a chore, no pun intended. My list is up!

Thanks for visiting my TT yesterday. I got sick and wasn't able to return all my phone calls (visit those who visited me). So I'm leaving a late hello today. See you next week!

Hey Cheryl!

I am sure my list looks somewhat like that, only I won't stop to be introspective enough to write it.

Nice to see you visiting my T13. How are things?
