Genius? Moi?

Well, it wasn't me that said it.

But I DID get 26/33 right on THIS without cheating.

I bet She Weevil could beat me.

How about you? What's your score?

  14. OH!!!!! 23 pints of coffee in the human body! See -- time of day is a huge factor in scoring well on this test.

1000 yentas in a menorah and 9 pimples in a surly adolescent.

Don't worry WriterMom, you can have a pair of my chromosomes. I'm only using a few of them myself anyway.

  15. 19....I finally figured out what 52 c in a p (wj) was.....
I would've used a c word in place of that damnable p one.

Why can't I get #30 and 31? The others popped into my head, and those two have me TOTALLY STUMPED.

  19. Badaunt- one of them's geography and the other is another very British sport (or Australian).

  26. Steve: Geography.

    Cheryl: WHY ISN'T 101 D 101 DALMATIONS?

(Quiz #2 is driving me nuts, but fortunately The Man came home with a job for me, so I'm taking breaks. (From the job or from the quiz I'm not sure.) Got half so far.)

  27. Badaunt
    It is.
    Its just dalmatians, no o
    I made that error too.
    I am stuck on:
    1, 6, 14, 17-21, 24.
So I'm not as clever as yesterday, apparently.
    Any ideas?

  28. tut I got 14 but it wont accept 17 sluts in a house party.

Writermom - "Grunt grunt grunt, scratch, grunty grunt, sniffety sniff"?

I get it now (oo oo eeeh ah to you) - but for a minute there I thought you were likening our Doris to a pot bellied pig!
    ROFL!!!!

They do say intelligence is inversely proportional to common sense. Well no. Not they. I say it - its my excuse.

  29. Shit. I can't spell.

#1 depends on whether you count one of them as one or two, and whether Australia is an island or one of these.

#14 is ... er... naughty things.

#17 is something you've been through a few times. It takes that long each time, and you don't get much sleep for a while afterwards.

#21 It has BK as well, but they're not counting those. Hmm... maybe that doesn't work as a hint. Music. (Dead giveaway, but never mind.)

Can't help with the others. I'm still struggling. Grunt grunt argh. This is all your fault.

  30. I've gotten 19 so far. You'd think with all the reference work I've done all these years I'd be getting some of these, but I keep looking at the screen and going "huh"?

Thanks alot, Cheryl. My brain isn't supposed to have to WORK on Fridays...........

  31. My brain has melted and I'm going to the pub!

Bet my husband aces this test, but he still can't change a bloody lightbulb.

  33. I came home and the Man and I went through it together.

I got up to 28, the Man got the 5 I missed and (drumroll please!):

    We got all 33!!!!

The Man claims we were inspired by the raw garlic he is having with his Friday night dinner, BTW. Somehow I doubt it, though the smell DOES tend to make me hungry...

    And now onto part 2!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cheryl, if you're still interested #8 in part 2 refers to computers. We're still puzzling out 14, 19 and 24. The Man is really into this!
